Shailendra Abhyankar, Founder & CEO

Shailendra is an experienced Fintech leader & Global Delivery champion. He has led Technology Centers and teams in India, East Europe, and the US. 

Prior to founding FinSoftAi, he was responsible for Bank of New York Mellon’s Innovation Centers in India, while being the Site Leader for their technology center in Pune.

Shailendra was with SunGard (now FIS) for about 10 years, where he led their Global Solution Centers in India. During his leadership, the India Center incubated several new Fintech products. He Championed a Global Engagement Maturity Framework ensuring successful global delivery across shores. He was also responsible for integrating their newly acquired center in Tunis.

Shailendra had long innings with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). He led their Global Delivery Center (GDC) in Budapest, Hungary. The GDC had a multi-cultural team with employees from 20+ nationalities. During his leadership, TCS Hungary was recognized as the best IT employer in Hungary by Hewitt Associates. He joined TCS in the R&D function and wrote Compilers, Translators, & Application Development tools. He began his career as a software engineer with C-DOT

He holds an M.E. (EE) from IISc, Bangalore & B.Sc (Physics) from Pune University. He has completed an Executive Leadership Program from Cornell University.

Shailendra has a keen interest and understanding of AI, ML, Blockchain, Decentralized Finance, and the India Technology Stack, and how they are creating new Fintech led opportunities.

Nitin Menavlikar, Co-Founder

Nitin is an experienced IT consultant and entrepreneur. Having worked in various techno-functional roles across US, Singapore and India, he brings experience in product strategy and implementation in the financial domain.

Nitin was a member of MCX (Multi Commodity Exchange India). He successfully ran a commodity trading and clearing brokerage business. Prior to FinSoftAi, he has worked for Deutsche Bank, FIS (SunGard), Fimat Futures (Newedge) in USA, JP Morgan & Société Générale in Singapore, IBM and KPIT.

He has mentored teams for competitive software challenges like ‘Call for Code Challenge’ by Linux, Open Source assessment. He also takes keen interest in the use of technology to promote heritage hospitality. He believes in Democratizing Finance using AI, ML and Blockchain technology.

Nitin holds a Graduate degree in Engineering and MBA in Finance from Pune University.

Olivia McLaughlin, Head of Strategic Marketing

Olivia McLaughlin, a seasoned leader with a passion for driving growth and innovation, serves as the Head of Strategic Marketing at FinSoftAi. With a diverse background spanning startups, technology and education, Olivia leverages her expertise to craft compelling strategies that resonate with customers and drive business objectives forward. Her keen insights and forward-thinking approach play a pivotal role in shaping FinSoftAI’s market positioning and ensuring its continued success in the competitive landscape of financial technology.

She holds a degree from Boston University and is a proud mom, adventurer and music enthusiast.


Advisors

Brian Traquair – Advisor

In a 35-year career, Brian managed financial technology businesses around the world within firms such as Reuters, SunGard, and FIS (www.fisglobal.com). As president of capital markets within SunGard, he led the creation of a global $1.5B business in equity and derivatives trading, risk management, and clearing verticals.

Leaving FIS in 2016, Brian is now a director, advisor, and investor in a number of fintech and start-up companies in Canada, and around the world.

He is chairman of Alveo and chairman of Deedster. 

Brian is also active in the non-profit and charity sector with board roles and providing pro-bono consulting on strategy, finance, and IT for Canadian not-for-profit organizations.

Craig Costigan – Advisor

Craig is a highly successful fintech CEO and global leader with a demonstrated track record leading company growth and innovation in capital markets, banking and global software businesses, exceeding $1B in revenue.

Craig is CEO, Nice Actimize since 2018. Prior to NICE Actimize, he worked at FIS as President of Capital Market & Credit. Craig has also incubated, grown, operated and exited 2 successful start-ups including K-Tek International that was acquired by Loanet holdings. The combined software company (now part of FIS) is still the industry
leader for domestic and international securities finance.
